The Lilly Pad Story Our dream has always been to run either a B & B or a coffee shop. Totally unexpectedly, our dream is becoming reality - the decision to purchase the property was instantaneous - we fell in love with the area as well as the location at first sight.
Who are 'WE"? Geza and I (Gena) met about five years ago. Geza owns a design business (Geza Design Group), whereas I come from a background of defense contracting and software training. When I met Geza, I decided to quit the 'business' and move to Cape Coral, Florida, where I first started helping in Geza's business. Since then, I have changed careers, and before opening the Lilly Pad, I worked as an Administrative Assistant in a Ft. Myers Church. Luckily, both of us have an extremely outgoing personality- we like people and people like us! The Coffee Shop was just a natural progression. We are empty nesters and frankly, we were ready for the four seasons and a white Christmas. Our dogs will enjoy the freedom that the property offers and I can hardly wait to do some gardening in my spare time. I know that Geza is also looking forward to less heat and cold water. He is, by the way, Hungarian, but definitely is trying to adapt the GA accent.
